Australia information for our energy future

Some overseas website hosting companies now offer carbon offset or renewable energy powered servers, but most website hosting providers are currently not using low or zero emission energy sources. However, you can still take action to balance your website's carbon emissions if you would like to have a greenhouse friendly website.

One way of doing this is to purchase carbon offsets which have been generated by organisations undertaking activities that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, such as replacing incandescent light bulbs with compact fluorescent lights and similar abatement activities.

How we calculate offsets

Offset your own website

If you would like to offset your own website carbon footprint we can acquit abatement certificates on your behalf.
